“CLASSIFICATION, CALCULATION OF SENTENCES
& ELIGIBILITY FOR RELEASE” SEMINAR
March 3, 2015 – – 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Lyceum, Hartford
CO-SPONSORED BY THE CT DIVISION OF PUBLIC DEFENDER SERVICES AND THE CONNECTICUT CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
Every client facing incarceration want to know, “Where will I go?” and
“How much time will I have to do?” Do you know how to maximize your
client’s jail credit? Do you know how to avoid having your client lose
credit? Do you know that clients lose jail credit on a daily basis? And
do you know that there are mandatory programs that clients must take
if convicted of sexual assault, before they will be released to parole?

These difficult and complex questions and many more will be answered by
representatives of DOC and the Board of Pardons and Parole. This seminar
has something for everyone – it is essential if you are new to criminal defense
in Connecticut, and a necessary update for those with more experience.
Registration deadline: Friday, February 27, 2015

All Public Defenders, Assigned Counsel and CCDLA members are invited to attend.
